computer repair

I thought of removing the cover, but it is not obvious how. I turned it on
its back and saw many small screws. Most marked "F5" and a few marked
"F10". I removed the F5s and the cover did not move. I chickened out and
replaced the screws. One doesn't want to break the wife's computer.

Since I started this note, I discovered this reference. You can find almost
anything on the Internet It appears from the pictures that the power socket
is mounted directly to the motherboard. It might be a difficult repair.
