  A feature that I loved (and hated, do to occasional trashing of the
'work' repository) when I've used ClearCase is this sort of concept.
I've looked at cvsfs, which doesn't really provide the same level of
granularity, but this looks perfect, at least in theory.  What would
be vitally important, however, would be some sort of 'history browser'
so you could drill down to past revisions.  Not sure, sometime this
week I'm going to take a stab at it, see what I think.
