I'm with Ben on this. The one I had on Friday, didn't know what a ping
was, let alone a trace route.
When I say I was "impressed" with Comcast's support, it was in
comparison to my expectations,
which were fairly low. They were better then they were in previous
years. Still nothing like MV's
level.
(True story: Comcast sent a tech to hookup at a client of ours. The 18
year old tech said he wasn't going to climb the pole, so my business
partner climbed the pole to hook up service. The same tech couldn't shut
the door of his van. My partner fixed that, by pulling the mangled cable
modem parts out of the door track. So, most anything exceeds my
expectations for Comcast's service.)
I would have called Comcast, or the police, on that tech, right then.
That was a criminal act.
