Hi-

Our town is attempting to do the right thing by replacing the Microsoft
Office suite of tools with the OpenOffice suite.

While there exists a good level of understanding for compatibility across
word/writer, there are some questions still to be addressed regarding
transition from outlook to an open email client. Beyond the obvious
support for IMAP and POP3, I do not know either needs nor capabilities for
scheduling meetings vis a vis outlook.

One addition to OpenOffice I have found useful is openproj (http://openproj
.org/openproj) since it is able to read Microsoft project files.

If you are able to provide some local adhoc phone support, or can recommend
another resource please include wbennett at atkinson-nh.gov as a response
recipient.

Regards,

Mark
