Starting an X11 client on another machine, without ssh

I used ssh.com  before OpenSSH came out.  I think it did have a null cipher
available.  It was useful for speeding up scp when the CPU was slow.  Think
Sun Ultra 5 or a Pentium II with 128 MB ram.
