Tablet recommendations?

For the portable *computer* market, I think the issue is input. Input
using 1-4 fingers on a touchscreen held in the other hand is, at least
for me, an order of magnitude slower than typing. If you are a
hunt-and-pecker, it's probably reasonable.

Tablets are transforming the portable *media consumption device*
market. Which is fine, I don't mind if TVs and books get an overhaul (as
long as the features I currently enjoy remain). It's a little too bad
that these devices are being called "computers" though.
