Reminded me, Video web cam?

I've been thinking of picking up a webcam for use in hangouts, skype,
etc, and I don't want to spend the money for something that isn't
going to work.

Anyone have any problems with the mainline brands like Logitec, or
some of the, ah, cheaper ones?  :^)
