hi,

I'm running Ubuntu 13.10 Desktop and have had no issues casting the browser
tabs from Chrome. I have 2 of the Chomecast devices(1 upstairs/1
downstairs) and it sees both of them with no issues..

The only thing that tripped me up was this:
--
Before you begin the setup process, make sure you are connected to a 2.4
GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi network.
--

as i had recently upgraded to a dual-band router and was using the 5g
band and it would't complete the setup..(till i read the docs) ;)

Thanks,
JFeole
