Build/Release Junior Engineer 

Russound is looking for a professional with a mix of experience in
software build systems and information technology to support its growing
engineering group. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience
in information technology or software development. 

The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience creating automated software build systems under both
Windows and Linux environments.
* Experience with GNU make.
* Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to deal with remote clients
over the phone.
* Solid shell, perl, or python scripting experience for automating
system administration tasks.
* Solid ability to diagnose Linux systems for hardware problems or
performance issues via the command line (no GUI tools).
* Experience with MySQL and/or Postgres databases (both a big plus).
* CVS and/or Subversion server administration.
* CVS and/or Subversion client use on Windows platforms.
* Some experience with a web development scripting language (Perl, PHP,
etc.) and HTML.

Candidates should also have basic systems administration experience
with:
* RedHat Package Manager (RPM)
* Network Security
* Apache 2.x
* Sendmail or another MTA

* Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux a plus.
* Experience with Bugzilla and Wiki web applications a plus.

* BS-CS or equivalent experience.
