Hi --

We are looking for two Senior/Principal Software Engineers to join our
development team in Nashua. The Senior/Principal Software Engineers will 
be responsible for the design, implementation and deployment of major
components of the company’s Internet end-user service. The successful
candidates will have proven skills in the successful design and
implementation of complex system software written in C and C++.

Requirements

A successful candidate will have 8+ years experience and an advanced 
degree in computer science or related discipline. Experience working in 
the dynamic environment of a small start-up is a plus. Proven experience 
in the following areas are required.

* C and C++
* STL and generic template programming
* Software development under and for Linux/UNIX
* Networking infrastructure (components, tools, APIs, protocols, tracing)
* Client/Server Network application development
* Distributed application decomposition, using lots of small servers
* IPC
* Multi-threading
* XML programming
* Message queues
* Asynchronous IO
* Experience in all phases of product development including 
requirements, design, implementation, QA, deployment and maintenance
* Development with and use of regression testing tools
* Familiarity with source code control, such as cvs
* Excellent verbal and written skills in English
* Good proficiency in the use of native MS-Word and Excel
* Very comfortable in a team environment, sharing of code and having 
code reviewed by others
* Experience with development of text retrieval software is a major
plus
