Job Title:
Consultant ECM Technologist, Application Services
Job Responsibilities/Department description:
We are looking for an individual with proven analytical and technical
skills who will fill the role of lead technical resource in support
projects that enhance Genzymes Information and Records Management
(InfoRM) initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
providing technical leadership, architecting and implementing ECM
solutions that facilitate effective, efficient and compliant handling
of electronic and legacy corporate information assets. This individual
must have broad technology experience with passion to create solutions
to meet the needs of the global business.
This individual will:
Serve as key technical resource and lead for selecting, architecting,
and implementing the information and records management solution
for Genzyme and deploying it as a service in the ECM application
services portfolio.
Serve as a subject-matter-expert for enterprise content management
(ECM), Information and Records Management (IRM), and enterprise
search solutions.
Provide advanced technical support for sustaining these applications.
Provide technical and design leadership on Genzymes line of business
teams to architect and implement other ECM solutions.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team of business subject matter
experts, business systems analysts, architects and technical leads
from other disciplines to facilitate the coordination of end-to-end
solutions that meet business requirements; yet maintains overall
strategy of the ECM Portfolio.
Generate high-quality technical documentation, such as, design
specifications, functional specifications, test plans, etc.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of the entire Software
Development/Deployment Life Cycle, including all elements required
to architect, design, deploy, test, operate and maintain ECM and
Information Records Management solutions.
Work closely with users, consultants, developers and applications
support personnel to ensure that roles and responsibilities, service
level agreements, and project commitments are identified and addressed.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on Enterprise Content Management and/or
Information and Records Management design, implementation and support
experience
Minimum of 10 years in Information Technology
Minimum of 5 years of general knowledge of systems, network and
application support
Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, documenting, implementing
and maintaining IT strategic solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
Livelink Records Management experience strongly desired.
Knowledge of cGMP, FDA 21CFR Part 11, SOX, HIPAA and other corporate
industry compliance regulations and statutes desired.
Knowledge of ITIL foundations desired.
2+ years of Digital Asset Management systems (DAM) and Enterprise
Drawing Management systems (EDMS) desired.
Experience with Enterprise 2.0 technologies desired
Records Management related Certification a plus.
Bachelors Degree
Workflow, archiving, eDiscovery and eCTD experience a plus
5 years of experience with Enterprise Collaboration systems
