  I use my inkjet at home so infrequently, I have to buy a new ink cartridge
every time I use it, because the old one has dried out by then.  ;-)

  IMO, all inkjet printers are, at best, cheaply made.  Thus, one should buy
the cheapest unit that meets your needs, and be prepared to throw it out
when it inevitably breaks down.  :)
