I highly recommend it. I've been using it for several months now. I
never really learned CVS, but I really like Subversion. It does a
lot of things CVS can't, and everything that CVS can, but better
(like versioning binary objects (yeah, CVS claims it can, but it's a
mega-kludge ))

No, nothing like that all.

As I said, I've been using it for some time here, and have even
started using it at home. I've got almost my entire home directory
at home under svn, and now I can easily make branches of things like
my .emacs and .procmailrc files for work, home, etc. and merge
changes back into the mainline, etc.
