One little sidenote that us southerners might not always get.  I'm no 
sure which came first, "UF", or "Ufies", but the UF crew does frequently 
refer to themselves as Ufies.  I have relatively little doubt that -- 
what with the strip being written in British Columbia -- this is 
directly descended from Newfoundlanders being referred to as "Newfies" 
(usually done in a good-natured, slightly condescending manner, somewhat 
akin to New Englanders being "Yankees").

Just a point of interest... and I'm sad that I'll miss Illiad, as I'll 
be on vacation.  *sigh*
