Is anybody getting good BitTorrent rates with Comcast?

I'm not so sophisticated as to measure everything that is going on,
and b/c i'm only doing light surfing at the moment, I don't care
whether my link is saturated.
What I noticed upon my first attempt with the 'BitTornado' bittorrent
gui was that it seemed abysmally slow (~3kB/s), but then I noticed
that I had my upload rate set to a limit of around 20. There is a
notice next to this setting that d/l rate is proportional to u/l rate,
so I just maxed out the upload rate to 100. All of a sudden, my d/l
rate is in the 20's and 30's, and b/c I'm connected to between 3-5
peers, it says that my effective d/l rate is approx. 175-220 kB/s. It
is still estimating 40+ hours to download the whole thing, but ~200
kB/s is not too bad for Comcast in my neck of the woods. Maybe if I
leave it overnight, my share rating will improve, and the network will
open up a bit. I can recall getting straight download rates in the
300 and 400 kB/s range on this network segment.
