  I stopped watching SG1 a few seasons ago.  They seemed to have run
out of ideas and were just repeating the same plot lines over and over
again.  But for the upcoming season, didn't they hire Ben Browder and
Claudia Black of Farscape fame?  Both actors did very well in that
series.  Of course, that doesn't mean the roles they were given in SG1
will be any good.  In particular, I would worry that the Skiffy
Channel is just bringing them on *because* they did well in another
series.  "It worked there, it must work here.  What do you mean we
need writing too?  Hogwash!  Hire those people!"
