The registry gets paid a nominal amount per domain per year. I believe
it is $6. When you sign up for 10 years, does the registrar prepay the
$60 to the registry, or do they hold the money and dribble it out one
year at a time. Whom do you trust to do the right thing?

I do know one guy who longs for those good old days when netsol ran the
show. I think he's nuts.
