You and I share the same assessment.  Webmin can run circles around
Plesk, and not simply because webmin has more 'features' but actually
because plesk doesn't even seem to know what it's purpose in life is.

I forgot that they offer 'regular' hosting packages.  I'm sure that
their regular hosting is just fine, on par with Pair.com or others. 
My only experience was with Virtual Private Servers --  "All the power
of root, with the cost of a traditional hosting service"
