Yep.  The nice thing about those dots is, you don't need them if you
want to just leave the origin off the end of the hostname :)

That makes using the same hostnames across multimple domains really
simple. Leave the domain name off, make sure there's no trailing dot,
then just call use the same file as the target of multiple domain
clauses within named.conf.

The origin (i.e. domain name) gets filledin automagically by named,
and tacked onto eveything NOT ending in a dot.
